My K10 Build

Here is a pic of when I went down to KC, MO and picked up my 1978 Chevrolet SWB K10.
Here are some pics of the ol' pos when I got it home.
Then I found some factory rally wheels, painted them, and put the 32" BFG ATs on them.
Took some crap out and got a new steering wheel!!!

As you could see in the other pics, the body mount bushings were shot. So I replaced them with some Poly bushings.
Starting to gather parts for lift and axle swap.
The front spring hangers were completely rusted out
So I bought these

Still waiting on axles here, but I wanted to get started.

Got the 12bolt out
Picked up the 4.56 geared D44 and 14bolt FF
Ran a buddys 36's for a few weeks

Both front hangers are off
The 14bolt is ready to bolt up.

Got the rear on the ground
Front axle out.
Zero rate install. Front axle moved 1" forward, Rear 1" backward.
It has 2' ground clearance to the rockers. 10" of front tire to fender gap and 11" in the back.

I don't know why, but I like this pic. Looks like a tow truck haha.
