1986 Toyota Xtra Cab SR5

Gray Goose:
After two TJ's, an XJ, JK, & WJ, I am building something different...Toyota.

1986 Toyota Xtra Cab SR5
22RE
5 Speed

Plans include a complete tube back half, rebuilding the motor, building axles, and linking it with coilovers front/rear. Currently I plan on running around a 40" tire, 110"-113" wheelbase, and as low of a COG as I can without sacrificing suspension travel.

The cab, frame, and interior are in great shape.

The only major damage to the cab, and I'll probably end up running the tubing for the cage through here anyways.

Gray Goose:
Tonight I removed the box. Not too bad considering I did it all myself.

Are Toyota's and Jeep's supposed to live this close to each other? :gaygig:

Medic76:
Do you need any parts for the motor or truck? My brother n law just bought a old Toyota and it came with a ton of extra parts like heads and other stuff. PM if you need something I can check with him.

Awesome! Looks like this will be a fun project. Should be somewhat similar to Seth's new rig eh?

Yeah. Now if only I had the axles, lift, tires/wheels, etc. like he has I'd be wheeling it a lot sooner.
